Intro + Seeking of Advice

Hello, I'm kind of new to Lucid dreaming. I've only ever lucid dreamt once. The fact that it only happened once and that it was a short experience only makes me more interested in it. I have a dream journal which I have to remember to write in more often when I wake up. I can deal with the patience but would like to at least attempt a WILD lucid dream because they can happen much more often than DILD's if you decide to perform them. The problem is, I cannot see myself laying completely still for over a minute, I would be too tempted to open my eyes, swallow, itch, etc. I'm pretty much looking for an easy WILD variation or any method that would not require putting myself in that position. That's that though, and this is what my first lucid dream went like: I was in this dark kind of void with someone else, I think it may have been a female, we were jumping onto different platforms/boxes randomly, it seemed like a puzzle from a game. I got to the 'end', which was a door, I opened it and saw the front of my house, it was a pretty detailed view, mailbox, car, driveway, front-yard garden, everything, but there were also men standing around with guns facing me. Apart from there being much detail, it seemed off a bit, it didn't feel completely like the front of my house, and I think that's what triggered lucidity, considering I know the front of my house pretty well. The 'soldiers' disappeared, I turned, and so did the partner I was with. I had very mixed feelings when it became lucid, I was very excited, and scared at the same time, and that is a bad combination in lucid dreams. Anyway I jumped down, turned right and ran across my driveway, turned right again and was running in the grass along the side of my house. The grass is what really got me in this dream, it seemed very beautiful in a weird way, it was like it was too realistic. Anyway I got in my backyard and was facing a street in my neighborhood. I closed my eyes and convinced myself that when I would open them, I would have been teleported onto the street. But instead, I woke up. Edit: Although I put a lot of writing into this, after I gained lucidity the dream only lasted about 10 seconds. Thanks for reading!
