Hello Mareklucid, welcome to DV. |
|
Thanks! I've been doing reality checks, dream journaling , auto suggestion and meditation trying to MILD lucid dream. Its been a little over a month now. Is there something i'm doing wrong or does it just take time? |
|
MILD/DILD always take time. LaBerge claims in his book, Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming that the average amount of time for someone to have their first LD is one month. Some people can have a lucid dream in a few days, others take several months. Everyone is different. With the MILD/DILD method, you need to wait for the techniques you're using to become habit, and to become firmly planted in your memory. You must also be confident that you'll become lucid! You are the best newb in the world, and you are going to have epic lucid dreams TONIGHT. |

push fingers through hang, plug nose, think of what i have done for past 10 minutes , look at hands, pinch, look at clock. when i do them its mostly when something seems odd or just when i remember to do them. some are very mindful others not. I had a dream that i thought i was dreaming so i asked my brother to do a reality check. He did the nose plug and said he wasn't dreaming. |

You're on the right track! Suspecting that you were in a dream and asking your brother to RC are good signs that everything you've been doing has been sinking in. |

Sounds like you doing all necessary methods. The awareness technique is very helpfull, when used together with your methods. You can either try the Sporadic awareness technique, or All day awareness.. Happy dreams |
