      Hi Hi HELLOO There!!!

Hey guys (and girls)! My name's Isi, I've been roaming around the forum reading posts for the longest time tho I've never really gotten serious about actually trying lucid dreaming and generally expanding my consciousness... Well a few weeks ago I really started trying, it wasn't easy but I managed to DILD once, it was like a 30 second dream, as soon as I achieved lucidity, a manikin appeared in front of me (I might have thought about how it would be awesome if I had a manikin), and I was able to literally control the manikin by bending her limbs. After that I woke up and it's never happened again.

Now it feels like I'm going backwards because when I started a dream journal, I usually would remember at least one dream per night. It eventually increases to 2 dreams on average then all of a sudden, nothing... No recall whatsoever. Its just like I went to bed a second ago whenever I wake up and it feels like I'm not even getting any sleep.

I read somewhere on this forum about the effects of marijuana on dream recall and tho I never actually increased my intake between earlier dream recall success and now, I've decided to stop completely and see where that takes me. I've also been thinking about starting on choline and galantamine Because I heard it helps with achieving lucidity and dream recall.

Any way, this isn't really a question post per say, tho any input would be appreciated. I just wanted to say hi, and introduce myself ...

So... Hello to all Dreamviews members!!!!!!

Hey Isi! Welcome to Dream Views.

Hmm since you've been roaming around the site for a long time, I guess you know your way around here already. Feel free to ask any questions!

      Enjoy.

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

30 sec is pretty good for a first one. To get them more often, check out this DILD tutorial. You will find there about DJs, recall, awareness, mantras and RC.

Weed may not be good for your recall. But once you think about your dreams more, recall may get better.

Galantamine and Choline are usually used for WILDs with WBTB. Happy dreams

      Welcome to the forum!

Some people seem to have better recall without marijuana. Other people report it doesn't affect them. I think there's no harm in trying without and see how it works for you.

I am one of the dream guides here, as is gab in the post above. We're here to help you with questions or finding information. If you need any help please feel free to post or ask one of us via private message.

Best of luck and good dreams!
