Well, I started my own dream forum, have been running it for just under two years, have posted around 200 dreams, and still have only one person other than myself as a serious member ... finally decided I may as well go find an active dream forum to post in. (Though I'll keep my forum going, as well.)
I'm in Orlando, Florida, though still more than half my dreams take place in the neighborhood I grew up in, and left about 20 years ago. I'm into science fiction, fantasy, tv and movies, so those themes are heavy in my dreams, as are books I've loved. Oh, and various video and computer games come to life.
Great percentages of my dreams have centered on jobs I have worked at, (or more accurately, industries I have worked in), which is sometimes interesting and sometimes halfway boring.
I lucid dream on occasion, though not as frequently as I used to. I remember dreams fairly easily, and always have. Back in my senior year in high school I decided to start writing down a list of dreams I dreamed, night by night, and easily added more than 100 dreams in the course of the year.
For some reason, I enjoy my dreams even when they are things that others would find horrible. As a result, I almost never have dreams that feel like nightmares, even if they look like nightmares. IOW, if I'm tied to a tree and 100 crooks blow my body to bits with machine guns, but I'm just standing there saying "That's interesting ...." it isn't really a nightmare.
When I am somewhat trying to remember my dreams I can usually manage 3 or 4 a week, though occasionally they start to get so boring that I don't really care to remember them anymore. Then I'll reach a point where maybe once a week or so I will have one that is interesting enough to be worth the trouble of writing down, and I may start getting more interested again.
That should be enough of an introduction, I suppose. Nice to see a busy place. Now I just have to figure out if I should start my dream journal here with a single dream, or perhaps the last five I've typed out.
