      Welcome to the forum!

Burke already gave you some great information. It would be hard to add more, other than to look around the forum and post anywhere it interests you to do so.

Setting your alarm a little early like that sounds like a great way to get a dream or two in before you have to wake up. With a little work on reality checks and awareness you might gain the control you're looking for.

I suggest you visit the Attaining Lucidity and Induction Techniques sections of the forum. Both should give you some good direction.

If you have any more questions please post them or send a staffmember(like me) a private message by clicking on our profile name.

      Happy dreams!

Thank you for the information, I will definitely be looking around for more information. Glad I have already had lucid dreaming experience, I have had only one dream where I checked within the dream to see if it was real. I always try to notice if I am breathing. In real life I can focus on the air going in and out of my lungs but I never think about soemthing like that in a dream. Anyway, in this dream, I actually checked that and when I woke up I was convinced the dream had actually taken place, lol. But I will work on improving my technique. Any dream is good for me, where I am aware its a dream at the time or not.
