Short and sweet Josh, I like it!

      Also..... Welcome to DV
WILD is a great technique to master, but it is fairly difficult, certainly when your still new to the whole thing. I would practise WILD for a while but don't put all your eggs in one basket. There are plenty of other techniques out there

      Good luck!

      Welcome to the forum!

It might help to learn the basics of lucid dreaming before you attempt WILD, or any technique for that matter. Some people have lucid dreams naturally but if you don't it can take time to make it a habit. The guides on this forum are designed to help your mind get into the habot of lucid dreaming.

      Try reading: http://www.dreamviews.com/f20/beginn...eaming-124786/

We also have a beginner's class in the DreamViews Academy (DVA) that could help.

Intro Class (OpheliaBlue, RareCola, CanisLucidus, Chimpertainment, Caenis, realdealmagic)

If you have any questions please feel free to post or ask any staffmember. [look for the stars above our names]

      Pleasant dreams!

Hehe by no means give it up. Keep on trying but WILD isn't something you want to be doing EVERY night. Save it for the weekends or something. How far did you get?

Hi mate, I actually experienced a WILD but it was by sheer luck.

I had a very heavy drinking weekend, with no sleep, so after work Monday, I had a nap at 6:30 pm. I woke up again at 9:30-10:00 pm and then I started the WILD technique.

I remember very fast "wooshing" sounds and then I was in front of a door (like a vision from matrix when rows of guns appear).

For me it only lasted 10 or so seconds - lucky really I didn't experience any vibrations or anything.

Try doing this; go to sleep - wake up and then go back to sleep relaxing, and not moving.

      Good luck, keep us posted!

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

WILD is one of the more difficult techniques for most people. It takes practice and dedication. Also read a bunch of WILD tutorials and make sure you don't make any common mistakes like trying to WILD right before bed. There are tons of WILD guides on Dreamviews. You can find a few I wrote in my signature.

Also check out this beginners guide to lucid dreaming. Best of luck. Hope you get lucid soon
