Interested in hearing about people's dreams

      Here's my intro.
I've always been a very active dreamer. At 16 years old I jumped out of a 2 1/2 story window while dreaming. I somehow did not get hurt. That was 40 years ago.

I've learned a lot in my dreams, as I believe we all can. Some cultures place the importance of our dream-state almost on par with the importance of our waking state. I also feel this way.

Over the years I've gotten pretty good at controlling dreams and going where I want to go, doing what I need and want to do.

I hope to learn more from others here.

      Hello herenow, to DreamViews!

It's good to hear you have good control over your dreams. I am assuming they are lucid dreams? And if so, what are some of the things you like to do in them?

Feel free to browse the site and ask any questions you have in mind. Seeya!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

      Thank You Paige.
I do think what I'm doing is lucid dreaming.
Some nights I'll visit ill family or friends, some nights I'll find leads on some research I'm doing.
I've seen items in dreams, and then found them in the woods the following day.

      Welcome to the forum!

It definitely sounds like you are describing OBEs or Astral Projection! I am currently experimenting with the matter myself, and you seem to be very experienced. I definitely want to discuss it with you

Lucid dreaming is very similar to OBEs/ AP the difference is where the awareness is located while we are experiencing it.

Check out this link for a description of an OBE/ Astral Projection: (or click my signature picture for a short video )

Hi and welcome to the forums! I am still new to so I know what you must be feeling. You can read some dream journals if you would like to know more about people's dreams. I have one to but the only entry in it is kind of one of the many crazy dreams I have on a regular basis. :/ but I hope to be seeing you around more and don't be afraid to ask questions. Everyone is really nice here!

I hope you find some dream journals that interest you. It is addictive to see other people's progress, and hear about all their adventures. I've made some great friends just from commenting back and forth on people's journals.
