      Introduction

      Hey,
      my names Philipp.

When I was a child I could fly in my dreams. Now I know that this was a so called DILD (what a weird short form). I knew that something wasn't right, and whenever I got followed I just started running and jumped. I was in the sky. Unfortunately over the years, jumping and flying in my dreams became less. I remember that in a dream I once had, I started running and jumping again, as usual. I just couldn't fly anymore. Ever since, I never had similar dreams or lucid dreams at all again.
Even in that time I wasn't aware what Lucid Dreaming actually is. So since a few weeks or months even, I've researched Lucid Dreaming in the Internet. I tried the WILD technique lots of times, I always fall asleep. I keep a Journal, but I don't seem to remember most dreams, although some are really clear.

      Hopefully tonight, I'll Lucid Dream.

      Hi Philipp,

It's nice to hear you're keeping a journal. Have you tried using some autosuggestion and mantras to help with your recall? It has helped a lot of people do so, and it might work well for you too. Basically just tell yourself "My dreams are vivid" or "I remember my dreams" or anything along those lines before bed.

You should check this out if you haven't already: http://www.dreamviews.com/f20/beginn...eaming-124786/

And if you're particularly interested in WILD, I suggest reading through the DVA WILD class. That reminds me, DreamViews offers free classes, if you're interested

      Happy browsing!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Hey phillip, I'm new as well. With WILD, you should try counting in your head, in unison with your breathing. For example

      Breath in
      1, I'm dreaming

      Breath out

      Breathe in:
      2, I'm dreaming.

That sounds interesting. Could you recommend some tutorials or documents regarding these things?

Falling asleep during WILD is a good problem to have. It is much better than lying awake all night. Try messing with the timing of your WILD, and what you think about while you are drifting off to sleep. It takes some practice, but you will get there.
