      Hi

      Hi
I'm 15 and have been interested in lucid dreaming for a while but i'm finally making the effort to give it a go. I've only had lucid dreams twice before during nightmares. I only took advantage of the lucidity by attempting to wake myself up by jumping off cliffs. I'd love to change that record and learn to induce and take advantage of them for their positive effects!

Hi! Have you chosen a particular induction technique yet?

You might be interested in reading this: http://www.dreamviews.com/f151/begin...son-ii-131245/ for a quick overview

I suggest starting up a dream journal if you haven't already. It really boosts your lucid mindset, helps you find dream signs, and recalling your dreams is fun too :3

Good luck! If you have any questions, ask away!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

      Welcome

You know that, jumping out of cliffs and waking yourself up when lucid ain't so bad as it sounds.

That's usually how I induce a more vivid dream, by waking myself up and then returning to the dream.

If you wake up just lay still and have closed eyes and try to fall asleep with the intention to see the dream form infront of your eyes, and you will soon find yourself back in a dream again.

Check out some DEILD (Dream-Exit Induced Lucid Dream) tutorials, it might seem advanced to you now, but while you do it you realize that it's a very natural process.

      Welcome!

You will learn a decent amount here, I'm certain that you will be able to take lucid dreaming to it's full potential. A quick hint: stay positive and don't give up. Giving up will not speed up the process.

      Good luck!
