Hey, I'm Myles. I heard about lucid dreaming this summer, while I was watching Inception with some friends, and since then I've "decided" to achieve lucidity multiple times, only to give up within a few days each time. Now, my plan is to become an active member of this community, so that I can stay motivated and finally become lucid in a dream. *play Rocky music*

Welcome to Dream Views. I wonder how many people have decided to try out lucid dreaming just because of that movie. Its a great move, but I'm not sure it does the concept of lucid dreaming, or dreaming in general justice, but then again I don't know what other people's dreams are like. Still the story was fantastic.

Your gonna have to ask yourself what it is you want to achieve Lucid Dreaming for. This isn't gonna be something you will be able to do right away. Many people go months without having any Lucid Dreams, even after they've had success multiple times before. The payoff however.... That is something worth the amount of time put forth into the discipline of Lucid Dreaming. To be able to control your own world with your thoughts. I'm gettin all tingly...
