      Dreaming - A Journey Continued

      Good evening everyone!

      It's a strange story how I've ended up here. Nostalgic for days that are now part of a closed chapter of my life, I went in search for something - anything. Holding my favorite song dear to my heart, I decided to type the title - Dreaming - into my search browser and see where it leads me. The very first thing to catch my eye was a link to this page. After an hour looking around I am very excited to meet new friends and continue on my journey left untouched for a few years.

      Many years ago, I found lucid dreaming mentioned in a book and instantly I was intrigued. Several books later, I had a good understanding of what lucid dreaming is and how it might be attained, but what really caught my eye was astral travel. For the better part of two years, I tried everything I could find to simply begin my journey - as of yet, there has been little success but quite a lot of interesting results. I will certainly post more about these experiences and cannot wait to hear opinions or suggestions from others.

      Well, tonight will be my first night trying in a while. With new ideas and motivation that I've found from everyone here, I am ready to try again. I'm sorry if this post is not nearly as good an introduction as I hoped it would be; of course I know I should write this when I'm a tad more awake, but I truly cannot wait to get to know everyone, so here I am! :)

      Glad to have you here! I think it's a great idea to lay things out on this forum. Reading the posts and writing your own will really keep your mind focused on lucid dreaming, which will help you move forward on your journey. Best of luck, and feel free to post or message when you have a question or if you are facing frustration.

      The people on here have worked their way through a lot of the issues you are likely to confront, so they are really helpful when you run into a roadblock

      Please do share your experiences, we'd love to hear them. http://www.dreamviews.com/introducti...-dreaming.html is a good place to start—it has the basic information as well as links to helpful tutorials around the forum. Also, you might find the Beyond Dreaming forum interesting, seeing as you mentioned looking into astral travelling.

      I, like paigeyemps above, was planning to recommend the Beyond Dreaming section but I see she beat me to it. You can find nearly everything you're interested in right there.

      Poke around the rest of the forum as well...Attaining Lucidity is also a good place to help you achieve your aspirations.

      Thank you so much everyone! I love how supportive everyone is here and I know it can only help me in my quest. I will continue to explore everything offered here - there is so much! I might need to ask for directions if I get too lost
