      Hello Dreamers

      Hello Everybody,

You have a nice forum and I’m really excited to be a member here. I consider myself a newbie to lucid dreaming with a lot to learn. Last year I did get into it enough to manage a few really neat lucid dreams (in one I discovered that I don’t fly or land very well). But I was just beginning to be able to lucid dream when I got busy with classes and stuff, and quit. I’m finding it much more difficult to do this time around. Just recalling my dreams is a challenge now, though the last few days I’ve noticed a slight improvement in that area.

Aside from dreaming stuff, I enjoy photography and really anything that has to do with creating graphics. I love fishing, camping, and long road trips. I live in Alaska with my son (TheSilverWolf on the forum), husband, 4 dogs, and a fancy hamster.

Looking forward to getting to know you all better and learning as much as I can about lucid dreaming

I nicknamed this lil' thing "Monster" ever since my dream about it growing alligator-jaws and grinding my finger in it's teeth

Glad you finally made it SilentDream! She is my mother, and we've been going at this LDing together. She's been a great help to me, especially in the encouragement area, as I tend to get frustrated easily. And SilentDream, you forgot to mention the doggers' names

      Welcome to Dreamviews SilentDream!

I wouldn't worry to much about your bad recall, if you keep working then your recall and LD skills will come back to you. Training to be a lucid dreamer is like training muscles: You have to keep at it to keep your progress. Most of us have had to take breaks from lucid dreaming from time to time, it is very common.

It is nice to have you here, and once again, welcome!
I dream many dreams every night, but I remember just a few. I wonder what adventures I've had that are now forgotten?

      Hey and welcome!
Have you set up a Dream Journal yet? If not, I think you should definitely do so. It helps heaaaaps with your recall.
I think it's really cool to have someone so close in your family who wants to achieve the same things! If my mum was to give lucid dreaming a try I would probably talk to her about it literally all day long hahaha.

Anyway, feel free to ask any questions
      sweet dreams!

Keep at it, and good luck! Follow Benni's advice with the dream journal, definitely start one up if you don't have one yet!

Welcome to DV, SilentDream! You are lucky to have a son who is interested in sharing this great hobby with you. One of my sons has also shown some interest but he is still very young (7), and so I shall see whether anything develops out of that. I think it would be great to have a family member to share this with, since so many people do not know anyone face to face who admits to being interested in lucid dreaming and it is always nice to share hobbies with others. And LDing is a great hobby to have!

You may say I'm a dreamer.

      Hey and welcome!

Sadly everyone I talk to (or try to at least) think LDing is stupid fake or escaping from reality or some nonsense. Take other's advice with keeping a dream journal (DJ) and good luck with getting back into the swing of things
      Goals:
      [x] Attain Lucidity
[] Have full control of a LD
[] Fly, have sex and explore the dreamworld in a LD
