been lurking finally signed up

hi I'm Moonflower, i have already learned lucid dreaming and have been LDing for many years now off and on, but its been awhile since i really got into it and i am hoping to improve my skills and brush up a bit. i have been using the DILD method which is how i normally achieve a LD, also especially effective if combined with the MILD method, i have been trying the WILD method lately and have gotten pretty close a few times but never quite made it.

i have actually used this website quite a lot and have found some pretty helpful tips and tutorials here before i decided to sign up. i plan to take part in the monthly and yearly tasks as soon as i become decently regular with LDing, until then I'll be around the forums sharing opinions and asking questions and maybe make another attempt at keeping a dream journal (im very bad at keeping a journal of any kind actually). i look forward to meeting you all and continuing my lucid dreaming journey with you

Welcome to DV.
If you need encouragement for keeping a journal you should try keep a real life journal or try drawing a picture instead of writing every now and then, both usually keep me motivated.

yeah i should try that again perhaps. i find talking out loud a bit easier though so i am thinking of getting a voice recorder sometime and recording my dreams that way, i already used this method with my computer but by the time the computer boots up i lost most of the dream. but until then maybe i will try drawing.

Hey Moonflower, welcome to DreamViews! I have to agree with sivason, Moonflower is an awesome name ^^b

I write my dream journal on the computer because it's easier for me to type it up quick. I've used the DILD, MILD, and DEILD method and I've been practicing WILD but haven't been successful yet. Although I think I've succeeded without knowing it at the time, I've seen my room with my eyes closed and didn't realize at the time that this was a sign I'd entered a lucid dream XD

I also want to do the tasks of the month and year soon, this years ToTY looks especially fun and good for seeing lots of different sights. So hopefully I'll have regular lucids again soon.
