      An introduction.

      Well,

      Since Im going to start Dream Journaling with you guys, its probably good manners to say Hi. Nothing much to say about me, except I am very fond of my dreams and Id like to enter that world more deeply by joining the community dedicated to it. Everything is really neatly organized here and thats something that I really lack. I guess I could have started an offline dream journal but that wouldnt be as much as fun.

      Ive had several spontaneous lucid dreams in the past and a few special dreams that I suspect were actually spontaneous projections into what I call personal astral(they were way too vivid and lucid to be normal dreams) and I'd like to have those kind of experiences more often.

      The methods I am using are ADA and Dream Journaling for Lucid Dreaming and also Liber O(which reminds me on WILD techniques) from Aleister Crowley for Astral Projection. As to support ADA I am practicing mindfulness meditation on wake up, before bed, after my physical workout and before I have lunch and dinner. I do it for 10 minutes and that makes it 5x10, 50 minutes of focused meditation daily and striving to that state of mind during the whole day.

      If I forgot something, or if anyones has any questions be free to ask.

      All the best,
      G.

      p.s. I forgot to add that Ill be recording only the most interesting or meaningful dreams in the DJ here, for the common dreams Ill use a notebook.

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

      Your plan sounds good. Yes, DJing is very important, goob job on that.

      We talk about LDing in our on-topic sections, and OBEs and APs, as well as other related stuff in Beyond Dreaming. Check it out, you will like it.

      We recommend you start with DILD, as it will prepare you for a WILD that you may decide to try later.

      Here are our recommended tutorials Induction Methods and Techniques

      and some helpfull info here Welcome

      Good luck and please ask if you have any questions. Happy dreams.

      @SkiesAffinity

      Thanks. Well, Astral Projection - as I understand it(there are many different definitions, probably people are using that one term to explain several different but similar experiences) - is a practice of projecting out of your body in what is called astral realm while using your 'astral' body(everyone has one - its basically full consciousness attached to the body of imagination.)

      Astral realm can be imaginary/personal(projection into the world of your dreams and your psyche) and spiritual/collective(going outside ones own head, using imaginary senses to see spiritual realms and entities).

      Those two overlap, and I had few projections into a personal astral, but not yet into collective one - probably cause of the lack of focus. It was different than dreams because it was super-vivid and even though I knew Im not in ordinary reality it didnt FELT like it..

      @Karloky
      Thanks, I hope so too! Community seems great here, many useful posts lying around..

      @Gab

      Thanks! Funny you mention DILD - I had a lucid dream yesterday using that technique spontaneusly. I am going to describe it in my dream journal and probably open a seperate topic since I have a question to ask about it.
