      New member "Techoh" has emerged.

Hello to everyone out there! (or at least everyone reading this...)

Anyway, I guess I can start by explaining a bit about myself:

I have had experiences that a person should not go through, and anxiety that no human should feel in their life. I have learned though, and have although at a young age, I have been told that my intellect is at the age of 35. Perhaps this is true... because I have gained knowledge and connected things with the mind that no teen my age can possibly do. I have not yet found a person my age who truly knows what it's like to have a mind like mine... so that's why I delved deeper into my brain. In all honesty, I don't know what I want to do in my future life... I've always thought that MIT would be an honor to go to, but from what I hear it is very unlikely for a person to be accepted into it. Nevertheless, I still will continue to explore my mind because nothing can take that away from me.

As an honorary song that I find most relevant to my knowledge and feelings at the moment, look up "Ode to the Brain! by Symphony of Science" on YouTube (Sorry, I can't post links until after three days of being a member... I've only been a member for one day. :/ )

I have taken a recent path into the brony fandom, then learned about tupperware (to other tulpamancers, you will know what I mean...). Bronies practically invented this phenomenon to what it is today, but is looked upon as a crazy idea. Through this path, my intellect grew ever more. I believe that before I came upon what lucid dreaming was, I have already had one myself. After looking at the links on tulpa.info, I saw this website and have now decided to expand my path to a broader view by becoming a member here.

      Welcome to DV!

Remember, just because someone says you probably can't, or its impossible doesn't mean it is. Don't let others get in the way of following your dreams. If you want to get into MIT then study hard, find an extracurricular activity you enjoy and dedicate your time to it. It's better to have tried and failed then to do nothing and wonder "what if I had..."

Thankyou. That is really inspiring... I have personally seen what the mind can do, and it is simply astounding. It works in a way that gives infinite amounts of variations in ideas. Ideas connect together in the brain to form thoughts and eventually consciousness if enough connect in a certain manner. I look at it and think to myself that there truly is no limit unless you set it yourself... Again, thankyou for the encouragement! It really means a lot.

Welcome! I'm a new member, too (: & often felt 'beyond' my physical age, resulting in an inability to relate to folks my own age. There's an infinite amount of reasons, I'm sure, but I know I seek more info/knowledge out of life than, it seemed, others of my age-group had wanted. Recently...it's been more EXPERIENCE, first hand, through dreams as a seeker. The mind has become a phenominal world/work of art of itself for me, aside from the physical, collective conscious one. Hope to connect with you.

also, One of the fellas in a bronies movie (on netflix) was from a town over from me. :3

Physical age really doesn't affect the mind for some people... if anything it limits them. At least that is the idea I have inside my mind at the moment....

Although, I really have found that the mind can create infinite ideas and therefore infinite experiences inside our brain. Till the day our body gives up on our brain, we are given the chance to explore. What happens after.... that is just one of the many wonders of reality. It really is a shame that most humans on this planet live in the world by taking in sensory information to simply crawl around in life. If only everyone knew what the brain can really do... literally everyone has this chance but many are too closed-minded about their abilities. To know though that in the future that technology will help people to realize this, it makes me glad that people are getting around to it. Have you heard of the EEG? That really is a good example of how fast we are advancing...

...Wait! With the brony movie on netflix, what is the name of the person who lives nearby to you??? Half of the producers of that movie are actually the producers/actors of the tv show. If you don't remember though, that's ok. I'm personally not good with memorization unless I actually NEED to memorize. XD

edit: Also, I guess I can say welcome to you as well! (since you say you're new here too I mean....)

Well, I am young. I, well, am goofy for my age, but I admit I am kinda advanced. I am studying neurology and psychology haha and always looking for ways to put my mind to the max. I lucid dream, practice neuroplasticity, infact I have completely changed perspective of everything haha!

      Welcome techoh,

      Welcome techoh,
Thankyou! I'd just like to add... to have a different perspective, you appear different. To be different is to be goofy (they go hand in hand together. XD ) Although, to have a perspective to allow advanced neurological interactions and at the same time be able to keep a goofy perspective, I honor you.

I'd just have to say, those who dare to be different have a substantial view that creates a new normal to society.

It was nice to meet you.
