      Hullo!

      Alright?

      I'm Steven, a 35 year old lad from Forfar, Scotland. i'm married with a 3 yr old son. Always been interested in Lucid dreaming since my pal when I was at school was going on aboot it,and I thought he was having me on!

      Anyway, since February 2013 I've been keeping a dream journal (which is getting quite big now) and made a reality check the scar on the inside of my third finger on my right hand, which I touch as often as I feel like and ask if this is dream etc. So , long story short - 18 months on - I FINALLY managed to have a lucid dream! - it must have lasted 30 seconds!

      that was three nights ago - haven't had another yet, but it was awfy good fun!

      thought I would join this forum to meet like minded people and hopefully the forum will help focus my mind a wee bit!

      Hi Steven! Welcome to DreamViews! That scar idea is actually a good idea. I have a small wing like scar on the palm of my hand that could also work as a reality check I guess. Thanks for the idea and congratz on your lucidity.

      Hi, and thanks. I picked the scar as a reality check because it is there all the time and I cant lose it!
