One thing to add: Dragonmaster is right about recall, and that it will improve with dream journaling and setting intentions before bed.

If you neglect recall, however, it will affect your success with lucid dreaming.

We call these semi-lucids, and if you are questioning your lucidity, then that is probably what you had. And you'd be surprised how fast your dreaming mind picks up and integrates info; you've probably been thinking about lucid dreaming a lot, which helps
