      intro post, fear of wild

      Hey guys, new here.

      I've been lucid dreaming for a while now, and usually it just happened while in a dream, but more recently I started getting WILDs, and they scare me a bit just because of the vibration state and I usually roll out of my body to the side. I know it's irrational to be afraid, but while it's happening I have this whole fight or flight thing going on, but I guess in this case it's both . So I try to wake up and get out of it, and if i finally succeed, it happens again like 1 minute later.

      DAE have fears when WILD kicks in, or any suggestions on how to get more used to it?

      Lol, being plagued by WILDs! OMG RUN!

      Just kidding: most people on this forum would love to have this "problem." You will get used to it after a WILD (ahem, while ). Just remember that none of it can hurt you. You might even try repeating a mantra falling asleep: "I'm safe, I'm safe, I'm safe."

      But really, you're fine. Enjoy the WILDs.

      Haha, it has been getting a little easier, and had two earlier this morning, the mantra thing seems to work surprisingly well. I also discovered the WILD section of the forums gonna be hanging out there quite a bit I think
