Both have nothing to do with being lucid, because you can't control it until you're stronger then the spells cast upon you, you'd have to have faith in the holy spirit to rid of these entities to efficiently get out of any paralysis spells/traps. It's not all in your head either, unless of course it happens in a false awakening (that's an astral attack), but if you're not asleep and it happens, that's a very different story and if that's ever the case you should check out this video. Being naive about events such as these is something that everyone inevitably regrets because it's not an event you can just ignore. Also if you're not religious and this is happening, that should serve to disclose what religion is about, and if this happens more than once, I would recommend getting a spiritual cleanse of your house, using techniques such as Sage burning, etc. These aren't just superstitions.
blizzardesign - I'm officially asking you to stop spreding misinformation about SP on this forum.

You are welcomed to your opinion, ofc. But... There is so much misinformation out there about SP and novice lucid dreamers come here for information about it. We, the community and staff of Dreamviews decided that it's time to dispell all those misinformations. So few years ago we collected our experiences and knowledge about SP and lucid dreaming and this thread is the result. http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...explained.html

Another great thread bout it http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...mystified.html

We don't censor what our members post (except spam and such). But we reserve the right to not host any ideas like the one you are presenting, because it's so damaging to the psyche or a dreamer. Dreams are what we believe and expect. So if someone expects a bad experience, he will likely have a bad one. And vice versa. It really depends on an individual and his state of mind.
