I am new to trying to enduce lucid dreams, though I've had a few spontaneously before. For last few days I've been trying MILD and last night I finally realized I was in a dream but no good came of it.... |

While I have only recently started with lucid dreaming again, I'd say that in this case it's a normal occurrence. Sometimes it just so happens that you experience this after awakening from an LD I guess. |
|
It's rare but normal. |

Sleep paralysis is actually pretty rare, although it does occur sometimes when trying to lucid dream. |

Just gonna point out, sleep paralysis has nothing to do with lucid dreaming. Either you are in the dream state and having spells cast upon you in the form of clouds from the "deep", and you are in the dream, or you're awake and the same thing happens but it is much different and you can't just "wake up" from it. Both have nothing to do with being lucid, because you can't control it until you're stronger then the spells cast upon you, you'd have to have faith in the holy spirit to rid of these entities to efficiently get out of any paralysis spells/traps. It's not all in your head either, unless of course it happens in a false awakening (that's an astral attack), but if you're not asleep and it happens, that's a very different story and if that's ever the case you should check out this video. Being naive about events such as these is something that everyone inevitably regrets because it's not an event you can just ignore. Also if you're not religious and this is happening, that should serve to disclose what religion is about, and if this happens more than once, I would recommend getting a spiritual cleanse of your house, using techniques such as Sage burning, etc. These aren't just superstitions. |

blizzardesign - I'm officially asking you to stop spreding misinformation about SP on this forum. |

I completely understand where you're coming from, and of course this is simply my opinion, which i've concluded based on multiple sources of external evidence that lead me to this conclusion. |
|
alright, here it is, if you're interested. |
|
Stop telling shit about SP please. |

Here's another excellent thread you might want to look at, HawaiianDreamin: |

When you experienced PS: |

"...what we experience is our model of reality, not reality itself. Perception is dreaming constrained by sensory input. So it’s a constrained dream, whereas dreaming is perception free of constraint. What exactly is the difference experientially between the dream and waking state? And you see, it’s the same stuff. It’s all illusion! "Stephen LaBerge
