Hey there, welcome to the forum!
Hmm tough question...I don't really know if there are any max/mins etc. to dream recall. Basically it's different for everyone. Some people recall nothing and assume they don't dream, others can recall several dreams a night.
For me, on a good night I will remember 2-3 dreams. Sometimes I will have nights where I can remember up to 6 or 7 dreams but that doesn't happen often. Other times, like last night, I will recall nothing.
You should begin a dream journal to improve your recall and better your chances at becoming lucid. Write down everything that you can about your dreams when you wake from them in the middle of the night or in the morning. It's better to write it down as soon as you can or else you risk forgetting it. You will notice that your dream recall will improve the more you journal.
Once you have increased your recall, you can go through your journal and begin to pick out dream signs that can possibly make you lucid. It is this simple act of trying to increase your awareness within a dream that should lead you to eventually become lucid. You may want to check into the adoptions program if you have lots of questions and are interested in some one on one help.
Good luck!
