      Cool 🌴 Hello from Florida!

      Good morning, fellow dreamers! I'm Emily, a teacher and artist from Florida. I've been using dream journals since 2005. I originally used another site to record my dreams but it ended up dying. I remembered DreamViews was a thing and here I am! I'm excited to use a site like this again. (It's been several years.) My dreams tend to be pretty convoluted with plot since I'm a sci-fi artist + author. (And also an avid collector of the genre.) That just makes it all the more fun to write them down, however. I've actually gotten plot points from my dreams in the past. My current novel WIP ("Red Shift") features visions from apocalyptic dreams I've had!

      Series I really like: Dune, Alien, Crest of the Stars, Galaxy Angel, X-Files, Star Trek, Chobits, Ghost in the Shell, Star Wars, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, InvaderZIM, etc.
      Music I really like: Ayumi Hamasaki, Lia, KOTOKO, Grimes, Enya, Björk, Stereolab, Epica, Purity Ring, Nitrous Oxide, Vocaloid music, vaporwave music, etc.

      Plenty of nice series there in that list.

      I am curious, what was the driver for getting back into dreaming now? Are you mostly just wanting to share dreams again or are you wanting to get (back?) into lucid stuff too?

      Thank you! My drive was definitely to get back into lucid dreaming and also wanting to have an organized dream journal again. (I've been putting it on Discord haphazardly for awhile now.) So both!
