This is what I think happened to me in my first lucid as well. It didn't feel majorly different from a regular dream, apart from the fact that it was about me having a lucid dream. I had another one after that, which felt a lot more real, so yeah, varying vividness I guess.

Though I don't buy the "the human mind doesn't do recursion" bit. When you focus on something a lot, then you're bound to have a couple dreams about it. Doesn't mean it has to be lucid just because the dream was centered around that specific theme.
