      Sleepy and tired??

      Hi there!
I have had a few LDs ( all were natural no induction) . My problem is this that whenever i do have an LD i feel soo sleepy and tired in the lucid dream...i dont close my eyes to change the scenery or summon someone cuz i am so afraid that i would go into deep sleep and forget that i am dreaming and it has happened to me .. i tried to go somewhere by closing my eyes and forgot i wuz dreaming...i feel soo tired and sleepy in the dream?? My question is :"WHY"?? how can i be sleepy if im already sleeping??and i also feel like i can move my real body as well and can open my eyes at will!
i havent tried spinning (waiting for an LD) but i did uuse the verbal commands but dont think that worked ...!plzz help!

      Thanx!!

Question: Are you also sleepy when awake? It's very much possible your level of fatigue transfers into your dreams.

Sounds to me you only recall the last part of the LD..

I often get this feeling, at the end of dreams, when the body paralysis is letting go, and my body in this reality is fully rested..

Work on dreamrecall.. Not on what you do in dreams... Is my advice..
I know who I am, as I become...

I know the feeling you are describing. I agree with GOMPgomp that I get this most commonly when the dream is fading. This can happen right as I enter the dream, right when I become lucid and start to wake up, or right as the dream is ending naturally. There are a lot of good techniques to help you separate your 'dream body' from your 'waking body'. Try to keep your focus on your dream body and your dream environment. Look at and rub your hands, touch the ground, or the texture of something close by. Getting some tactile sensations in the dream world should help to focus your consciousness away from your body in bed.

I certainly haven't tested this, but I read some recent post about LDing in an LD making the dream more stable. Maybe if you went to sleep in your LDs you wouldn't feel tired in the next segment of the dream? Try to WILD in your LD and you probably won't loose lucidity. Sorry if this seems convoluted.
