Welcome to DV PaiRoDoX!

1. When you are lucid in your dreams how real are objects within the dream? Like, if I were to touch a flower in my dream would it be the same as touching a flower in real life?
It varies from dream to dream, but they can be as real or more real than real life (you'd have to have one before the more real than real life part would make any sense probably).

2. In the dream world, would you see yourself through your own eyes? or some at some other sort of angle?
Both can happen. Some people have more 3rd person dreams (looking at yourself like a movie) and some people have more 1st person dreams (you being yourself).

3. How long should it take before you have your first lucid dream?
It varies greatly. You might have one your first night, or it might take a year or more.

4. How real is the world itself? Like is it exactly the same as looking at the world while awake or would everything look somewhat altered?
Pretty much the same answer as question one.

5. (Almost similar to question 1) Are the 5 senses available to you in the dream world?
Yes

6. How long are most lucid dreams? and how long are lucid dreams when you first start out?
It varies from person to person. Most of mine are very brief. When you first start out lucid dreams tend to almost end instantly, but once again this varies from person to person. Some people have long lucid dreams even when they first start.

7. At what age would you recommend lucid dreaming to?
Any age. However, as you get older you have less REM sleep which is when lucid dreams are most likely to occur.

8. Are there any dangers to lucid dreaming? Like are there some sort of side effects? Could you die?
No dangers. The only side effect I can think of is perhaps less sleep if you try the WBTB method or are really dedicated to writing in your dream journal.

9. (And finally...) Let's say you fall off a building. Before you hit the ground would you wake up? or would you continue the fall and end up in heaven?
In normal dreams, most people tend to wake up. I know that I've fallen in some of my dreams and not woken up, but I didn't die in the dream or anything. I wasn't really even hurt. I have died in one of my dreams (via drowning) and the dream just went black and another dream ended up starting.

I hope that helps a bit. There's a lot of useful information here and helpful people. Read as much as you can and ask any question you need and I'm sure you'll be LDing in no time.
