I'm in the same boat as you i'm afraid! I'm desperately trying to activate my own logic part of the brain, but it seems quite tough. I'd suggest following Shift's Reality Check tutorial though if you haven't already done so, as she's pretty much on the ball there.And try and make the RC's that you do perform quality ones where you really put the effort into believing you could be in a dream state whilst awake.

I'm personally trying to do Rc's where I kind of "shock" myself while doing them ie: if I hear a noise or a voice in another room at work I'll quickly do a nose plug RC and spin round and justify where I am and what I heard almost on hyper alert. This is obviously hard to do throughout the day as it's easy to forget many times when you could have done one.
