I am not sure if I am a lucid dreamer..

      Hi everyone.

I found this forum yesterday. Nearly four month, I am searching for an answer about my dreams and sleeping times.

I had some experiences about lucid dream. Last time I pass on a small river by jumping. It had a feeling like flying. I was really fast.

Also, I have my own "language" in my dreams. So, sometimes I can see what is going to be. Nearly four month ago, I had two dreams about myself that became real. I had some hard times in my life. But sometimes it is difficult to analyse dreams for me. I generally run away from something in dreams.

In addition, I have some places that I go there in my dreams. I always discover a new part of place or meet new people that I have never met. And I always run. Dream goes like a TV series. There is some other places that I go with only one person in my life. For example, I go a house which is old and abandoned with one of my professor from university. The house is in the middle of a beach.

      So.. somethings like that.

I want to discover what is going on with my brain or subconscious ..

I hope I can find some answers here. As I see, most of people has that kind of experiences here.

Welcome to Dreamviews! Anyone can become a lucid dreamer. If you can dream (which obviously you can), then you can lucid dream. LDing is like an adventure into your own subconscious and I believe you may be able to find some of the answers you are looking for. I suggest keeping a dream journal. You can browse through some and get the general idea of how they are kept, here: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=26 . Also, here is a link to the tutorials section, where you can get a nice overview of the many techniques and induction methods, http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=25 . Good Luck in your future efforts!

what's with all of these mystic/vague replies above?

if you are aware that everything around you is a dream/part of your mind while having this adventures then yes you are having a lucid dream. However even if not you seem to have a lot of dream control so developing this ability shouldn't be hard for you using the aforementioned techniques.
TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
