My face looks perfectly fine in mirrors (in dreams)

I've heard that one of the most common dream signs is your reflection in a dream. In several dreams I've seen my face in a mirror (being non-lucid) and my face looks exactly the same. Actually, last night it looked better because the scar on my forehead was gone.
Is this normal? Or am I one of the few that see their reflection just fine in dreams?

well, as you've said yourself your face looked different cause the scar was gone. I've once seen myself with just one giant eye like liela from futurama and a duke nukem haircut, though my recently just my beard is gone

Alot of times if you aren't lucid, you WILL look different in the mirror, but not even realize it. Your mind will accept it as normal and you may not think twice about it. With that said, I have looked into a mirror and saw a completely normal reflection before. Often times mirrors change your appearance, but not always.

I was lucid a few nights ago, and I RC'd just for fun by looking into a mirror. I crossed my arms and looked in the mirror, but something wasn't right about the arms. I looked around at them in the mirror for a few seconds, and realized that my left arm was crossed under my right, instead of vice versa, which I was doing.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

There will be times when you must say to yourself "hang on, this is a dream!"
Being able to do Reality checks will provide that cue.

Yours would have been that forehead scar and how wasn't there in the mirror.
You need to pick up on these cues.

To learn lucid dreaming, you must be able to tell the difference between a dream and waking reality.
Else you will have normal dreams every night, instead of clear, conscious dreams.

Sometimes I look perfect(ly normal), sometimes there's a distinguishable change, sometimes I'm not even me.

Remember that there are hardly any actual rules in dreams. Just because someone says something doesn't mean that that is how it always is, or that it will even be that way for you at all.
