Can I do WILD in the afternoon???

I was wondering if it would be possible to do WILD in the afternoon. Since I would be fully awake and wouldn't of been sleeping for 7+ hours, would I be able to at least have SP? Since I have never done WILD, I don't think I would be freaked out by hallucinations in the afternoon, rather than in the middle of the night. Thanks....

It's possible. During the afternoon you'll most likely end up in REM sleep right away. You might need to spend more time on relaxation, but for the rest its just like a regular WILD.

Maybe try getting up a bit earlier than you normally would in the morning. That way, you miss out on some REM sleep (which is best for dreaming in general), and your brain will want to catch up on it when you nap in the afternoon.

I had my first WILD 2 days ago taking a 30min nap about 2pm-ish. I also had 10hrs or so of sleep for the night, lol

I had been watching TV for 2hrs or so, so I was relaxed physically. I was feeling a tad tired and figured I'd try to WILD and it worked

How long did it take you to WILD. Did you experience SP?

thanks for the replies I got up at 8:30 AM...about 7-8 hours of sleep and took a shower...2:30PM now. I might try to WILD. Think it will work and how long will it take?

EDIT:I have been on my computer a few hours...so I am pretty relaxed and feeling tired...how long do you think it will take to WILD...and one Q-If you lie perfectly still any time, will you almost for sure experience sleep paralysis. Do you start to enter a dream right after SP??? Thanks

Well, I experienced an incident of sleep paralysis after a brief nap I took a few days ago. I only slept for half an hour, but I dreamt elaborately nevertheless. When I awoke I was unable to move any of my limbs, and I couldn't even utter a sound. It felt as if my mind had projected from my body, yet I knew I was fully awake. I experienced a few startling hallucinations, which I strangely ever tend do do during similar events.
