Question Im about to try my first lucid

      I am 14 years old.
I'm very interested in lucid dreams.
I am about to attempt to have a lucid dream by using this technique, as suggested here.
If this doesnt work, I will wake up later and try to FILD.

      1) Is there anything I should know?
      2) Whats my chance of success?
      3) Am I going to get too excited then wake up?
      4)

      1) it's better to try a fully tested technique.
      2) unknown
      3) only if you want to.
      4) Whatever dude.

also it's better to try a FILD if you're waking up right after the end of a dream, and not moving. If you wake up, and don't remember dreaming anything at all, it's better to try a normal WILD. Also...goodluck.

      1) There is probably alot you should know. Try checking out our tutorials section here, http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=25.

      2) Chances of success may not be very high your first few times. Just don't get discouraged abd keep practicing.

      3) It is common for dreamers to become over excited their first few times. Just try and remain calm. Take some deep breathes and relax. Act as if you are a LDing veteran and you've done it all before.

      4) hmm...

From one noob to another... What I'm doing (and it really seems to be working) is just record my dreams, every night, whatever they are. Not really going for lucid, just taking it as it comes for now, until I can remember ENTIRE dreams without struggle. At that point, I'll start aiming for lucidity. And, from what I've experienced, lucidity can come even without aiming for it. I had a partially lucid dream tonight, and I didn't do anything special to invoke it.

This is all I know. I hope that, considering I'm brand new as well, you might be able to relate to it.
