      another question: is it possible to WILD at the first time i go to bed? i mean, not having to wake up during night? because my house is small and if i put a alarm everyone wakes up and that's not nice hehe
      I believe you have to enter the REM cycle, so you need to sleep for a few hours first before lucidity is possible. Unfortunately, its not possible to just go to bed at night and fall into a lucid dream. That is why you must find a way to wake up midway through the night. Otherwise, you should be using DILD, where you become lucid during an ordinary dream. Personally, I find DILD less vivid and realistic, and often harder to achieve. But DILD is more suitable for beginners because its more convenient and easier to understand.
      Apparently the REM cycle last several hours after you wake up, which is why some people WILD in the afternoon.

      Once again i have tried to WILD, but i couldn't even Reach SP...

      i went to bed at 1 am i was very tired, and i just positioned myself into bed in the most confortable position i could find, and i stood totally still without any movement, except the ocasional swallowing. But this time i guess i were really near SP!
      i didnt count the time, but after maybe 15 minutes of being still, i started to feel small autonomous movement of my legs, like small reflexes, very fast. i continued without any movement, and my breath started to get deeper , maybe because i started counting it.
      then i couldnt pass that part, the breath just went normal, and i ocasionally felt another "reflex" in my legs but after a while i started to get bored and stopped, and when i moved , whats my surprise? i almost couldnt move my Legs , but could. i had my muscles very week. I were almost there right??

      and another thing... I try always to keep myself thinking of something , mainly something that has to do with being lucid, and conscious, so i cant lose my lucidity. Is it a good approach? counting And at same time thinking rationally about being lucid, like reporting what im feeling and asking myself to stay lucid etc??
      and when my Hipnagogic Images start to appear, for some Milliseconds i start to lose my rationality, and forget to stay thinking/ counting etc, how can i go past it?

      and another question: When i reach SP, will i be "awake" the necessary to tell myself that the upcoming hallucinations are just that? or will i be like 50% awake ? and SP happens with Closed eyes right?

      thank you. you people are being very good to me by writing tutorials and lots of information, and answering my questions and also opening a new door of oportunities to me. I wish i can Learn a lot from you and someday who knows, teach too

      Realism varies from person to person & dream to dream

      But do u wana know how real it could be ?

      In one of a LD i tried to test my senses , and i touched the wall in a dream.."it was so so realistic, almost like a real world" - from a thought i doubted it to be a dream.. but RC's were telling me that it is. I couldn't tell the difference b/w real world and dream world in that dream.....

      And now in my waking life when i touch something i sometimes rememba that dream.


      Suppose if you're lucid right now...look around ...
      It can get that much real in my dreams...

      hey but every time i remember a (normal) dream i can only remember what i saw, and badly, not anything else, not the sounds, not the textures... Does the fact of being lucid changes that? and does the fact of being lucid makes easy to remember all the details?
      and that Dream i said i had, and i figured i was dreaming, when i woke up i only remembered the key parts of it, what i seen, i didnt remember any detail, not even the face of the person who asked me if i was dreaming, i just know "someone" asked me. :S

      I agree with superx.

      Regarding to your question, Lucid Dreams are much easier to remember than normal ones because it is much more "realistic".

      What time do you usually sleep? If you're a late sleeper and tend to wake up early with less sleep, I bet that's one of the hindrances of recalling a dream.       Hello, During school times i normally go to bed at 1 am and wake up at 7... but now im on 1 week vacation and im using that to pratice more.

      Last night i attempted to WILD once again, i went to bed at midnight, and stood still for about 1 hour with no sucess, i was only focusing on my breath. I guess this time i entered SP but i dont know if it was SP because i didnt feel any Halucinations.. i tell this because somewhere during my attempt i could only feel my eyes, mouth and breath, and my breath was really really slow, as if i were sleeping, but since i have waited so long, around 1 hour, and no signs of hallucinations i just gave up, and i almost couldnt move my legs... so thats why i suppose i were in SP. Was i?

      and this morning i woke up, as always with my dreams erased, then i focused and remember 1 dream. And after some more minutes i remember that probabbly i had a false awakening: I woke up and did 3 Reality Tests and both said it was real, i tried to put my finger tru my hand, no sucess, tried to pinch my nose and breath, no success, tried to pinch my harm to see if it hurts, hurts, i even tried to Levitate my desk and no success, i dont remember anything else, and when i recalled this i also recalled that during that night i never get of my bed (in RL)

      is it progress?

      and yes... I am improving my dream recall

      please tell me what im doing wrong, and try to give more suggestions.

      Quite confusing. If that was indeed a false awakening, then those RC's you did must have succeeded.

      Regarding SP, I have read that there are some cases that dreamers doesnt see hallucinations or hear voices - in short they don't feel anything. You couldn't move your legs right? I guess that was SP after all
