auditory hallucinations are a part of SP, could have been that. |

I was trying to wild for the first time and then my whole body had a tinkle and i went numb, Then i heard glass breaking, Sadly this caused me to jerk and get out of SP. I couldn't find any broken glass in my house. Is it normal? Or do sounds mean i'm insane? |

Oh, Now i feel bad that i ruined my chances |

Don't worry about it too much. Getting HH is a good sign, and you can always try again. You might want to read up on some other hallucinations you may experience during SP, so that you'll know what to expect. |

I am so lucky. The only sound I ever hear is the sound of a pond. I can hear the bugs, and the fish swimming, and the water trickling. So relaxing... |
|
You could try what I do to keep that from happening again. I always wrap something around my eyes and ears (usually a dark T-shirt) so as to assure myself that anything I see or hear is in a dream, because real sights and sounds would be muffled at best through the cover. I tend to not react to any of them and disturb the SP that way |

DV Dictionary. / Verious: a definition. /
I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.
You can manipulate the sounds too, if you want. This thread, for example, really made me laugh. Since then I've paid more attention to weird noises, and had a listen to "Summer of 69" last time- perfect quality. Don't worry about "ruining your chances", you were close, and there's always next time. Anything that that happens to you before your first WILD is just progress. |
|
Your right, for me that was a huge step. Now i need to be able to follow it with-out loseing consusness |
|
I hear the strangest things when I WILD. I hear voices, conversations, loud mechanical noises, animals breathing. You name it, it pops into my brain. |
