      Questions

I have had some lucid dreams over the years, but mainly not, and in them all I could do was control my actions and know it was a dream and in some nightmares I knew I was dreaming and woke myself up. But this mourning I had my first lucid dream where I actually changed something in it. But I really want to know about the sort of dream I had. In it while seeing my dream, I was also aware that my body was lying in bed and that my eyes were closed and I knew from past experience if I opened them then I would wake up. Also during the dream during parts it seamed that I was floating through it and didn't even have any arms to touch thingsm, but in other parts my arms appeared, but still i could feel that my real arms were by my side in bed. And the change which I managed by the end of my dream was changing the gender of one of my random dream people from a man into a woman.

Sounds like you weren't fully asleep. I know when I WILD I can feel my body AND my dream body both at the same time, which is really weird. But after a while I'll fully fall asleep.

Happens to me when I DEILD sometimes. I don't think I actually feel my real body, I think I'm dreaming that part, but usually if I do something complex I forget about my real body and enter the dream. Try doing some math or something.

Alot of times if you can still feel your body in bed, you aren't fully transitioned (from the waking state). Your dream may not be very stabile and you may be on the verge of waking or losing the dream. Performing some stabilization techniques can help you solidify the barrier between the waking and dream state. Most of the time this problem can be solved with the very simple action of engaging in dream activity. Just get involved with/interact with/explore the dream state and you will soon lose your unwanted senses/feelings. This is pretty common amongst LDers and isn't something you should be worried about. Just keep practicing. Good luck to you!
