Who knew sleeping could be such fun? :)

      Hello!

I'm new to these forums after researching google about lucid dreaming.

As a kid I remember having my first lucid (not knowing what it was) and having people thinking i'm crazy when I woke up and told them about it. Years past i'm 20 years old now and stumbled across it googling random things, had done reality checks for like a week and successfully had my first last weekend.

What an experience, everything feels so real, anythings achievable.. just amazing. I feel like i want to preach it to the world but everyone thinks i'm nuts haha. Had my second last night and it was just as good as the first. I've always been told i have a pretty wild imagination and think unlike others.

Figured I liked reading others stories and experiences so i decided to join this community great getting to share my experiences with people as 'nuts' as me

You're not the first to get that reaction from other people. They are the ones that are crazy though, not you. Anyway, be sure to click on the dream journals tab at the top of the page to read other peoples dreams.

You are not nuts at all my friend. People who are set in there ways and dismiss lucid dreaming as bs are just missing out. Although the fact that it is a rare ability (not as in really difficult to learn but rare for people to want to learn about it) is kind of cool. I guess if everyone was a LD master everyone would just want to sleep all the time lol

Yeah, that's why I don't share my dreams to THAT many people. Just a few friends that don't think they're weird, and on occasion my mom and sis. That's why I love this thread and my crazy friends from another thread!

      Welcome!

Congrats! My mom thinks I'm crazy when I explain lucid dreaming to her. But she thinks I'm crazy otherwise too so I don't really mind.

Welcome and yes, you will get that reaction from a lot of people since they don't seem to grasp the idea behind it and if they do, then they just don't care about it
