      Is difficulty of movement normal?

Well lately I've had another lucid dream and when I was lucid I was thinking and I noticed that in all of my dreams movement is more difficult than real life. Like when walking in a dream it takes getting used to, I will unnaturally slide sometimes, driving seems difficult and strange enough the environments I'm in always make it worse. Like I'll be driving on a strangely complex highway with a speed limit of 120 mph with amazingly sharp turns and drop offs where everyone is having no trouble on and I almost crash over 20 times. But even without those difficult enhancing environments everything is harder. Is that normal?

And on other news my newest LD was great. I was going to a friends house and i started running down their drive way. But I noticed I was going much faster than usual and tried sprint jumping. I went really high and realized I was dreaming. I realized my movement was harder and didn't feel natural. But All I did for about 5 (before I lost lucidity) was sprint jumping and stuff everywhere. Experimenting with how weird my movement felt. When I would land this weird slide would happen.

Actually, lucid dreaming addresses the psychology. I woud think what is being indicated is the fact that you do have a great deal of inner conflict.

Keep up the dreaming, you may be led to work it out, if possible.

I had the same problem in my early years, but worse, much worse.

The secrete I was given--follow the lines of communication. I will not tell you what that means, but it has to do with reality.

Movements in dreams can be different then in reality. This is usually shown through a difficulty of running or flying, but I suppose you have a slightly unique case. With time, you'll be able to walk normally! Don't think about how you walk, maybe that's it, just DO it, and it should be normal, maybe (I am contradicting myself ). Keep trying, and see what happens.
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

Well it's really weird. Like my movements them selves are pretty normal. But Like when walking stuff will happen like Ill be traveling at 7 mph but moving my legs at a speed that in reality would only make me go 2-3 mph. So I'll unnaturally be sliding. Like someone is pushing me on ice.

Yes, I've had movement issues in many dreams, especially non-lucid ones. While what Philosopher is saying could hold some truth to an internal personal conflict, I've found these movement issues to be nothing more than just a little impediment removed during lucidity by....being lucid. It's sort of common for me. Not as of late, but it happened quite a bit in my DJ when all logs are taken into account.

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.
