New here, just had my first lucid dream!

Hi everyone, I just joined this forum because I'm pretty ecstatic about my lucid dream last night. I've been trying to lucid dream for about a week, using only binaural beats while I fall asleep, and last night I could actually control my dream. I woke up feeling very energetic (which is pretty odd for me) and ready to face the day.

Anyway, I read a blog about binaural beats at rhythmheal.com, the blog being about lucid dreaming and decided to buy and try out the beats. I'm very glad I did! It was a pretty remarkable experience. Anyone else with success stories using binaural beats?

edit: I forgot to link to the blog in case anyone is interested, duh! It's called Binaural beats lucid dreaming, about how the guy tried binaurals with his own experiences .

Ah, you are new so may not know, but linking to competing sites isn't really ok with the rules.
Anyway, never tried that, though glad its working for you, welcome to DV, btw!

Did you simply have control over your dream or did you truly know that you were dreaming? A LD is one where you're aware you're dreaming, and that doesn't necessarily constitute being lucid.

Semantics aside, glad to hear you had an awesome dream! Well, regardless how you had it, I hope that you'll stick around here and fell free to share your dreams and ask questions and all around enjoy yourself. I hope to see you around

Well, I realized I was dreaming and from there I was able to take control. Very cool experience. And last night I just had another, didn't think it would be this easy to lucid dream!

And Walms, sorry I did not know it was a competing site, I'll be sure to take down the link.
