Eh, for recall having a dream journal helps more than trying techniques, though it sounds like you get good recall even without one lol |

Hey everyone! I have been looking at this site for the last couple days and I am very intrigued. I have actually had a few lucid dreams already in my life, but had no idea you could try to induce them yourself or even that they had a name until a few days ago! |

My recall can be spotty. It comes and it goes... Some days I can remember like 2 or 3 but I have also gone months without remembering any. But I intend to start keeping a journal, maybe tonight. Hopefully that will make it a bit more stable |
Oh, good to know you will start a DJ then, it iwll help with recall, once you get good recall, you can move onto the techniques. I wonder, did you read the list of techs yet? |
Yes, I have. Just the basic one. I'm hoping to get good at WILDing soon, but it sounds difficult. I have tried Crazyinsane's CANWILD method the last two nights, but have either been too awake or not awake enough when the alarm wakes me up. |
Ah, so you are aiming for WILD, good luck with that, and remember, doing a RC while trying to WILD is always good, you may be sleeping and not know it. |
what is wild? |
Wake Initiated Lucid Dream, the one where you go right from waking into a LD, tends to be hard. |
not hard....i do it every night (or day) whenever i nap or sleep i am lucid! i work and have a partner who is on permanent nights so may nap whenever! i kip for two mins and have a lucid dream!! its actually quite annoying! if i get a quick cat nap you can guarantee there will be a dream involved! lol x |
lol hence the "tends" part, there is some people who ge WILDs naturally, just as DILD naturals, and some others that have it easier for WILD than DILD. |
Yeah that's my goal! But, I'm going to practice doing RC's and other techniques as well and see what works best for me. It's amazing how much info I have found on the forums and the site already just over two days time! |
yay the site is doing something good! And yeah, I do recomend RCs, but thats only because they work for me lol |
dare i ask? rc?xxx |
Reality Check, helps while working with DILD (Dream Induced Lucid Dream). |
oh dear...need a rc then!!! |
night everyone.....sweet dreams lol xxx |
You too Claire! |
night babes xxx |
Thanks quorthonafull! Good luck to you too! |
It means "externally induced lucid dream". In my case, It was induced by the sunlight that entered through the window (but It bothered me until the dream ended). |
oooohhh.. Interesting, I haven't run across that yet on this site. |
