Dream charades. [Draw I guess, I'm not really sure how that would work.]

Hack accounts and put words into each other's mouths while trying to figure out who really said what.

Scavenge hunt. [Links to various sites looking for clues and what not] < Could probably tie hangman into that as well.

Spot all the differences in a drawling etc. ...and on and on and on...

Thanks. And.. not sure about a freestyle comp. We've had an insurmountable amount of those archived here already.

It'll probably be a very.. very.. very.. long time before another one of those takes place. The first one lasted 4 months. The second lasted 1.3 years. I'm not liking this trend. Besides, the community could use a break from it for a while.

      Thanks.

Elaborate on this a bit, if you will. Posts of quality? If so, where? In the on-topic forums, off-topic forums? Or just spam/senseless posts with a required number of characters?

If it's the latter, I'm going to have to say that's out of the question.

It would be in off-topic, and no, it wouldn't be a spamming game. That would just be a trap to ban people.

I haven't gotten this far... let me think of something...

OK, the person that sets off the timer would set off a discussion of some sort. Then people will try to reply to your post the quickest. Then they would try to get the quickest reply to the previous post, &c, &c, &C. But they have to have a specific number of words in their post so that it isn't a quick answer like "Yes, what about you?". Instead, you will have to post a response/elaboration of that that matches previously set criteria.

For example, let's say you need... 50 words minimum. Random number, you don't have to use it. No randomly changing the subject, no making senseless/incoherent posts, rules similar to that. Overall goal: try to be the quickest to respond in a thread of rapid-fire, meaningful conversation. It would test your skills as a speed-typer and your ability to make quick conversation while staying on-topic.

At the end of the game, the creator of the game would count the number of posts each person made that replied to the most recent post that added to the conversation. Or, in different words, a person who didn't respond to a post alongside another person. After all of these are added up, you give the prize to the person with the most posts of that type. Of course, you have to sign up in advance, so if you join in the middle of the game your posts are not counted for anything.

OK, I laid out much more than I had intended, but who the fuck cares?! Feel free to tweak the rules if you want to or ask questions if you still don't understand.

well if we look at this trend we could keep the community busy for at least 4 years
They say dreaming is dead, no one does it anymore.
It's not dead it's just that it's been forgotten, removed from our language.
Nobody teaches it so nobody knows it exists.
The dreamer is banished to obscurity.
Well, I'm trying to change all that, and I hope you are too.
      By dreaming, every day.
