      What's your rebellion?

I'm not talking about things OTHER people consider rebellion, but what you do that YOU think is rebellious.

For instance: I smoke 2 packs a day. Most people see that as a rebellious act, but I don't. I smoke because I enjoy it and it relaxes me.

I realized today that I actually am a "goody-two-shoes". The most rebellious thing I do is occasionally not wearing my seatbelt lol
When I don't wear it, at first I feel a little guilty, then I sport a goofy grin and become a little giddy because I'm "getting away" with something
      Isn't that sad?

      How about y'all?

I make unwavering eye contact with random strangers in crowds until they feel unbearably awkward and look away.

Oh man that's the best. It's how I used to deal with bullies in high school. It was so much fun to listen to them waffle when they realized I wasn't going to stare down at my shoes in humiliation.

Otherwise I'm pretty much a goody-two-shoes as well. Though I've been known to take things from my cart at grocery stores and sneakily put them in the wrong aisle when I'm feeling too lazy to put them back in the proper spot.

Careful that can be perceived as sexual interest in some places...

I bend/break the rules here and there but never to be purposefully rebellious because I'm not a teenager.

I took out my sketchbook, color pencils, sharpener, watercolors and a brush and went to town in my little sketchbook. Well, it pissed off costumers who were upset that I was ignoring them, he he he. (whats work?)

      Those are great.

BlackberryFox, HAHA I do the grocery store thing too sometimes. I usually feel too guilty and either put it back where I found it or give it the cashier and say I changed my mind

Guilt only stops me if I get caught, otherwise it just eats me alive as I'm driving home feeling sorry for the poor slob who had to clean up my mess.

Green: I've never understood "tagging". Being an impartial observer, I honestly don't mind when people create works of art on the side of buildings (so long as they're appropriate for all ages lol), but I never understood merely writing a "name".

Blackberry, lol, when I was a young teen, I cried for hours because I didn't wave back to a guy wearing a hotdog (or somesuch) suit. I kept chastising myself: 'He works all day in the hot sun, trying to make a living and he's laughed at and ignored, and you couldn't be nice to him. [nag/nag/grumble/grrr]"
I've always felt overly guilty about the silliest/stupidest stuff.

Oh I don't think it's silly. i take it to mean that people like us have a kind heart.

I remember there was some guy standing out trying to get donations for something. I can't even remember the cause anymore, but at the time I must have thought it was worthy. I couldn't stop for him because I was late to class and once I got there I started having panic attacks because I felt so bad I didn't give him anything and I was worried he would leave before I could go back or that he would think I was a cruel person for blowing him off the way I did. Thankfully he was still there and I ended up giving him twice what I normally would have to make up for it.

Tagging is not just a thing.
its so involved with the rest of the world you would even know
theres so much to learn about it and so much you wouuldnt expect
Yes, there are thosse kids who write on shit just to be rebellious, but the truuu graffiti artist do if for a reason
They are artist, explorers, and adventurers.
Yes vandilism is one part, but the only way to understand the full concept it to be a part of it

      This is a fun thread

Most of my rebellion was when I was in highschool. Mostly happened at school and the water park.

At Soak City, me and my friends would break a lot of the rules. For example, if we were suppose to stay in the raft going down the slide, I'd prefer to hop out and hang on the back while I skied the way down, or flip out of my innertube and scramble to get back in before the slide was over.

At school, I got unexpectedly transferred because of something stupid I did. I didn't like the new school I ended up at and I thought I would try to make my days more interesting. I would go to the bathroom, and toilet paper the stalls and throw toilet paper wads, and you would here a big "smack" on the wall and it would just stick there. One day I actually went on a rampage during lunch and I went to every boys bathroom and toilet papered, threw toilet paper wads, and in one bathroom, I threw confetti everywhere. I got away with it every time.

There was one bathroom I couldn't do it in because it was under construction, but when it opened, I threw some toilet paper wads on the walls before class started, and then when I got to class, some kids were complaining that someone was messing up the nice new bathroom which kind of made me feel guilty. But you wouldn't suspect a quiet kid like me right?

I also ditched my last class of the day a lot as well. At my old school they were really hard on you about attendance, so I would have to get a pass to the library but I would just leave. When I got to my new school, they weren't so tough about it and I would sometimes (about once a week or 2) just escape. At my old school it was just a study sort of class, and my last class at my other school was PE.

I know, I must sound like a huge nerd or something lol, but they would make my Fridays a whole lot better.

Bad boy *shakes finger at Louie* lol

I went down a tall water slide when I was 7 months pregnant once. I was tiny and hardly looked pregnant unless you saw me from the side I was too nervous to push my luck and go again though

I grew up on a Navy Base in Pensacola, FL. There were 2 military forts near where I lived: Forts Barancus and Rebout (sP!!) There was a movie that my friends and I LOVED called "Gothcha". We would chase each other through the forts with imaginary guns and yell "gotcha" when we found one another (like a combination of tag and hide and seek). Through a lot of the passages, there were medium walls with sand on top. I'd climb them, sit in waiting for a friend, then jump down. I almost gave some tourists a heart attack a few times
One area was closed off with bars, but I was so tiny and flexible, I'd squeeze through them and wait (it wasn't a dangerous area, but a large dining room and only opened for some tours).
One time, we came back after Barancus closed. We scaled the outer walls and had a blast. Rebout was always closed because it was falling down. I once tried walking along a ledge on one of the walls. The ledge stayed at the same place across but the top of the wall gradually went higher. Eventually, I lost my grip and almost fell to my death. I never tried that again lol

THOSE were the days. I guess I was more rebellious as a kid than I first thought
I didn't act up in school until a few months into the 11th grade. I was finally sick of all the bullies and gum in my hair, so I started skipping. During one stint in ISS, I just left school. I dropped out and never went to another day. I did go to Night School there for awhile though.
Oh yeah... I did smoke in the bathroom all the time (even in Middle School). And a few times, I brought Puerto Rican Rum for my friends (Middle School).

Now I'm fat and lazy and my biggest rebellion is not fastening my seatbelt

Omg I walked in the bathroom once at school and these 2 kids were dealing pot. They nearly shit their pants probably because sometimes I tend to walk quietly so I sort of surprised them. I could have been the teacher.

lol- the look on their faces would have been priceless

I'm stealthy too. Because of all the war games I played as a kid, it comes way too naturally for me. My hubby is ridiculously absentminded and I've almost given him heart attacks several times. It's in my nature to ALWAYS be aware of my surroundings. He always plays pod casts or the radio/TV (news) so he's never aware of anything. It actually gets on my nerves more than his natural grumpy disposition. I think that's one reason he likes having his own house. He'd never live long around me If he's working in the garage with the doors open and I walk by, I stop, a great distance off and yell his name. It usually takes a few times and he still almost always jumps

I wear sunglasses at night when I'm driving. If people ask me about it I say that it cuts down on the glare from the lights, and it does.

Graffiti has definitely been something i used to take quite seriously, and it can be seen as rebellious. It's just a name that you leave wherever you want to, i was there is all it really is. Definitely can become a habitual activity. Nowadays i find making nice shelters and dwellings where people would never think they are etc. and in quiet areas is really fun.
Is it really real or am I still dreaming?

I give people bad directions. I throw in a subtle "I'm probably wrong though" to stifle the guiltiness but I give the directions in a confident enough manner that I doubt they pay any mind to that admission. And sometimes, when it's cold out, I exhale from my mouth to make people think I'm smoking (only when we're not facing the same direction though).

      That's right, I'm a fucking badass.
