No, I don't think it's really idealistic. "Real men don't date the most beautiful girl in the world, they date the girl who makes their world the most beautiful." I actually like that quote lol That's almost how I view who I would want to date, I'd also add 'the most interesting' lol. I can appreciate beauty, but it doesn't make me want to date that person, or go any further than appreciating natural beauty. I honestly do want to date someone who amplifies my fascination with life over what they look like.

Well, I'm not making myself the guy who only wants beauty on the outside. But it's just the "real men" that's added in there that throws me off. I mean most of these people are like 16-18 year olds (including me), I don't understand why they're indulged with "real" and "fake" though.

So a woman cut her husband's penis off. She claims it was because he "filed for divorce."

The women on the show are laughing about it, joking about it, and so is the entire audience. Let's remember this is on daytime television on CBS, a network that reaches virtually every home in America. One of the women in the audience said "That'll teach him!" and comments like that continued.



This other video is a "What Would You Do?" scenario, where 1) a man is abusing a woman, and then 2) a woman is abusing a man. The difference is, when the woman is abusing the man, some of the women consider it "empowerment." or "not threatening." But what if the woman had a weapon?

My complaint: It's "funny" when this kind of thing happens to a man, but NO ONE would laugh if any sort of genital mutilation happened to a woman in this country. It's empowerment when a woman abuses a man or in some murder trials KILLS him, (A good example is a woman who was found not guilty when she said it was because he abused her... that's why she murdered him... rather than contacting authorities.) but it would be unacceptable to call a man murdering his abusive wife "empowerment" or "self defense."

I'm absolutely not saying that men should have less harsh treatment for anything like this, and I'm not necessarily agreeing with any of the comments the video poster made, I'm saying women shouldn't be given leniency in these situations... It's such a double-standard, and the same thing happens with sexual harassment; women can flirt with men at work and get away with it (most of the time) but men wouldn't DARE do it, ever. /rant
