Thread: Rant and Rave, Cry and Complain

I followed Dianeva's example and am comparatively drunk by now. Hope it'll make me sting less tomorrow because I must go to work, lol.
Just i feel a little depressed since yesterday when a friend of mine demonstrated some flaws in my nice personality before other friends.
Anyway, this altered state makes me think of some lingustic aspects of my name. First, to tell that I'm happy for not accepting my ex h-d's surname because it meant 'black ass' (not donkey).
I realized that my father's name would sound just like Lucifer in Latin! Translated in Latin my names would be Gloria Lucifer Christus. Awesome absurdity, lol!
I should decide what to wear tomorrow, but don't have the right mood for that now.

I slept in so now I've only got three hours to finish start writing that paper. Why must I always procrastinate? D:

On the bright side, I managed to get into that psychology class I wanted. I had to drop political science because of conflicting schedules, but psych. and philosophy should still make for a fun semester.

Nice! I'm cramming for my Biology Exam, and I'm using Quizlet to study the practice tests and notes I took, I'm getting A's for some reason. (Really weird, this is information that was made MONTHS ago). Guess I'm on a lucky streak...

I have a looming feeling of anxiety and a hunch that I need to do something but I don't know what or why ;_;

I totally respect your opinion. But for me, I grew up on Yu Yu Hakusho, it never had any fillers, and the only "filler" there would be would be the last episode. Seeing Yusuke think he's killing these people because they're evil, only to realize that they wanted to die for their sins was mind-boggling to me.

And the last saga where they basically had a friendly free-for-all, it was nice to see how Yusuke lost for once and learned something from it.

The saga involving Sensui was probably my favorite, because he was the epitome of the good little boy who was saturated with idealistic values, only to encounter a moral crisis, causing a new personalities to forge....he didn't want to destroy or threaten the world, he only needed one of the main characters to break the barrier to get into demon world so he can find the strongest demon and die in their world. And hopefully be reborn understanding a demon's perspective.

But yes, DBZ SUCKS...just went on too long. All the main characters death's were half-assed after a while.

Yu Yu is actually a pretty good show. That episode with the one character growing a forest after planting seeds there like centuries before? I mean come on. I was just saying not every anime deals with things like spirit energy getting blasted at each other the way those two shows do. Don't take it personally. I just have a lot of respect for anime that does it correctly which is why when people associate those flat sort of premises with good anime I can't help but think

But if there is one style I dislike more its shows like Yu-Gi-Oh, Digimon and Pokemon. I prefer robots fighting or twisted little telekinetic girls tearing each other to pieces.

Bah! I woke up to a sauna in my bedroom. It warmed up very quickly today and the heat of my room kept me out of it until 2:30.
I woke up in pain several times. I can't comfortably look down again. This is getting more than a little freagin ridiculous.

Hubby was super grumpy when I talked to him after waking. He's annoyed at himself for not getting his garage cleaned. But because of his mood, I'm not asking for grocery money until at least 5:00 (later if his mood hasn't improved).
My kids drive me crazy. We're out of food now, but I have 2 jars of peanut butter in my room. I found one unopened and rejoiced My oldest boy called me weird and asked how that would fill me. I was instantly annoyed and held up the jar and said: "If I ate this entire jar I would end up puking because I'd be so full." To which he asked: "How could you eat that much peanut butter? You don't have any bread." To which I replied "If I'm hungry enough, it wont matter."

I hope my kids never have to face a real possibility of starving. I'm about as picky an eater as they get, but hunger is hunger.
They think they're going to starve to death because they haven't eaten since 3AM yet they wont eat peanut butter without bread? They're the weird ones lol

And now I've been butchering my leg for 10 minutes, trying to reach a boil that's getting on my last nerve (just how many last nerves do I have ) I rarely get these freagin things. Usually, they show up on my leg after using a dull razor or from getting stubbly from not shaving soon enough lol It amazes me how such a tiny thing can cause so much discomfort. I never did reach the actual bump.
Does anyone have a good home remedy using household stuff or stuff I can buy at Walmart?

I went way too long without eating or drinking anything. I was never hungry enough to eat the peanut butter and I was never thirsty enough to drink tap water. I just sucked on candy canes or tictacs to get rid of dry mouth.
My body decided to rebel and gave me a migraine from hell. I've hibernated throughout most of the day. As soon as I got grocery money and downed a gulp of Coke, the headache started subsiding. As soon as I ate, it went away even more. Now it's just the dull ache I'm used to.
I did get 2 big bottles of water to complete my hydration. Everyone says Coke dehydrates you, but if that was true I'd have died long ago. It's practically the only thing I drink. I'm sure if you tried taking my blood, it would be Coke instead

I traded hubby my remaining 8 1/2 hydros for some valium, however, just in case the headache returns after I've tried everything else. I got the better end of the deal. I break his pills into 1/4's so 8 1/2 will last quite a long time.

An anti-rant is that my libido was finally so out of control that my latest dream took care of it for me. Oddly enough, I didn't have a sexual dream- just a normal, boring one then my body woke me up

I also bought some honey for my boil and some new razors for the stubble. Hopefully, that rant will be no more here shortly.

You are absolutely right sir, that did not even cross my mind lol. Yeah, no kidding though, ah those were the good old days.

I've taken up some light upper body training. I never thought this day would come, but eventually I came to find it was needed. And now I'm feeling stiff in the arms and chest region pretty much all the time. It's no fun, I tell you.

I did okay yesterday. Still have some neck tension/discomfort and my finger's still bugging the crap out of me but on a scale from 1-10 those things hardly even register a 1.
The valium didn't knock me out, but I slept better (at one stretch) than I have for a while.

About 30 minutes ago, though, I started itching everywhere- especially the top of my right hand and my left forearm. What's up with these annoying allergies (?) Nothing's changed to account for it. Well, I've been taking a B-Complex vitamin for a while but I don't see how that would do anything. Ugh... I guess I should research it. I really hope it's not from that because I've noticed a great improvement in my energy level since taking them.

Oh yeah, and my little dog isn't crazy after all. I was hanging up clothes in the bathroom earlier and she went nuts trying to get under the tub again. I always humor her, so I removed the block, and sure enough, I saw Tiny's head looking up from the insulation under the floor where the pipes pass through. Tiny's one of our kitty cats
But now I have to keep on my son about replacing the block after turning on the hot water. The bunny lives in the bathroom and the cats would just love him for a snack. I'm surprised they haven't eaten him already because my son left it open for 2 nights (I always put it back when I woke up).
I really need to figure out how to replace the knob...
