Tonight was the Christmas dinner for my hubby's Office. We haven't attended one for several years because of religious reasons, but now that we're not practicing our religion, it seems silly to still skip the dinner.
At the end, they passed out gifts.
My gift came in a very nice box with a snowman and Christmas Tree on it. The Office bought me a really pretty picture frame, a remarkably soft scarf and matching gloves, a bracelet with several charms, two small bottles of Bodycology Hand Sanitizer and a packet of Wet Ones hand wipes

I am NOT really a germaphobe. I carry around hand wipes all the time because I don't like my hands FEELING dirty. There IS a difference But it's all good and the dinner was really nice
Other than that, I'm still trying to get caught up on sleep after all. I randomly nod off while on the computer or Skyrim.

You try living in a university that's #1 in Texas. People are going to know who did what and when they did it. Word will get out quickly, people look at you differently, and it will basically set me up for hypocrisy.
That is something I do not want to indulge myself in.

And I'm not panicking, it's true. Texas may be "Big" and all, but this university has some of the fastest communications online. Me telling them what I saw would just be a grain of sand. I would have to dish out more personal information about myself to convince them I'm not some prankster, because guys and girls do some incompetent things to waste authorities' time here.

It's like Crime Tips, you can call them and hope for something, but it might be a trap to just to make yourself a suspect too. (People are pretty paranoid here when a crime occurs, because it usually doesn't happen, because all the other petty crimes like fighting, drunk driving (not a crime but there were children killed because of drunken teenagers) and a whole bunch of shit are just foreplay for the police.

It's not that it wasn't hard to report, it's just more stress I would have to deal with over a small observation, it's just going to delay me finishing what I need to do. And that comes first. Even if it means destroying the chance for "Justice" to be win. "Justice" isn't going to care about my well-being, until my own ass in on the line...they just wait for that moment and hope for the best to make themselves look like the heroes when they're just a bunch of sporadic authorities.

I'm not disrespecting the police force, it's just that some people in it may be a bit crazy...

Edit: I know I'm over analyzing things, but I do that a lot before making a decision, because before that, whatever felt like the "Right" thing to do just ends up me fucking over and making my life saturated with inferiority complexes more twisted and abstract.

Yesterday I about slapped a little kid across the face... It was the last rehearsal for the community play at school, and all the younger kids were being obnoxious and loud and putting everyone in a bad mood, so that was annoying. One bratty little boy elbowed me in the stomach and told me to get out of his way, then he hit a little girl and stole someone's bag of popcorn... I hope his mom smacks him. Then my dad was just a lazy jerk at home. Sometimes I really don't like him.

I'm horrible with children. If they push it too far, it's just an explosion waiting to happen. And what I hate is that their parents will think their little "Johnny" would never try to destroy my personal items.

And even if they do find out, they just scream at the child and leave. The child stays quiet UNTIL they leave, and they go back to their little demon acts

What has happened to trust? So much paranoia and mistrust on the part of authorities... Why do people take advantage of shit like anonymous tip lines? Ruins it for everyone. (Wait, I just answered my own question.)

Call from a payphone. You don't have to give any personal info if you don't need to, you just call in and say you saw the guy at *insert place* at around *insert time*, then you hang up. If they feel it's worth their time, they'll follow up on it.

None of the courses that I want to register for are available. Not a single fucking one. Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, English, Political Science, etc... I'm not sure what I should do now, I really want to take a couple classes next semester but I can't find a single available one that I think I'll find even remotely interesting. /

What about the waitlist?

The classes have already filled up, there aren't any seats available for those courses at any of the three campuses for my university. There are a few other classes that I think I might find interesting but I don't meet the prerequisites. Save me, Spartiate, save me. D:

I think I'll drop by the counselling/educational advising office over the weekend and see if I can get on some sort of waiting list. People usually register for a bunch of classes to save a spot when registration opens but then they drop a few once they've narrowed their list down.

Why do you have to go there for the waiting list? Can't you do it on the website?

I'm not even sure if there is a wait list.We're supposed to register for our classes online and as soon as a class fills up, it's removed from the list. As far as I'm aware, there's nothing I can do to get on a waiting list over the internet. Hopefully the education advisors can arrange something.

Last night was crazy, was listening to my friends prank calling Escorts, Hookers, and just plain sluts from Wisconsin, Texas, etc. They met an Asian pimp (lmfao) and he told them to fuck off. One of my friends tried to do a prank, and the hooker thought he was a cop. LMFAO

They asked me if I wanted to try, and I was like "Eeeeeh nahhh." Then I thought of an idea and asked them, "Hey guys, what if I told the hooker I'm a virgin?" (wait I am one)

And they're like "Yeah, you could ask her where to put it in" "How do I do this?" xD

This isn't really a rant or complaint, but I did feel bad in the end for the escorts.

I feel like I've missed out on so much ;_;
