SB or Artist's Corner?

OK, I made a thread about Death Poetry on SB. The idea of the thread was to post your own poetry about Death. Somebody said it (not sure if they meant the whole thread but maybe just one of the poems - which was not by me) should be in Artist' corner. Now I want to make another thread called Non-Death Poetry. Question is SB or Artist's Corner?

Example of start poem...

Namaste

Father Sky
Mother Earth
Let me ask you
are all true hearts as one?

Is the lightning different
and should I fear it,
and run inside
when the rain begins to fall?

Father Sky
Mother Earth
Let me ask you
are all true hearts as one?

A very soft and beautiful voice
spoke from somewhere
in between the dream and the reality

Sure it does, because the odds are that we (staff) are just going to move it to the Artists' Corner, anyway, with the rest of the poetry.

It is a poll. I did not ask anyone's opinions here. I just wanted votes, but I doubt the votes will count so it is not a democracy now, is it? The staff will do whatever they want to, and that is all that will happen. The world at large may be a democracy, but not these individual areas where certain people have the final say and votes do not count. Point made?

I think you misunderstand. There is a certain level of comedy (read as: ridiculousness) to posting a thread to make a poll about where a poetry thread should go, when there is a specific area on this site for poetry. An area to which (as I said) the poetry thread will like likely be moved to, anyway, because it belongs there. (I'm just ~~lazy~~ busy, and haven't done it yet.

But it's because of this thread's inherent facepalminess, that I wouldn't expect to really get (m)any straight answers/votes. Just sayin.

That's like getting upset because you don't get to vote on putting your dream journal in the entertainment section. The forum is split into sections for a reason.

To be honest, you'd have a better chance of keeping that thread in SB, if you didn't make a scene about it. I didn't even know it existed until now. Lol.

Of course, the best way for 'The People' to have the thread to stay in Senseless Banter, they could always just bomb it with crazy, nonsensical, too-ridiculous-to-be-taken-seriously 'poetry.' That's usually how most serious threads get moved there, in the first place.*

This poll is in General, not in SB, so mind your Q's and P's, pony lover [giggles]. There are currently only 2 votes and one for SB and one for Artist's corner. I can understand both sides. One of my poetry topics on SB got freakin' overwhelmed with people posting picture links having nothing whatsoever do with the topics, so one for ONEIRONAUTS' VOTE. I was obviously talking about the Death Poetry thread. You know - The one that does exist. The one that you opened this thread by saying you already have created. The one that I'm about to move into the Artists' Corner.

Well, I am pretty sure you can't dumb it down more than a few of the people here who just post useless images that have nothing to do with a topic. Sheesh! :-)
