Ah I see. I was doubting it's impossible to not have things happening at your country. So it's too far for you to travel I see. That's the advantage for me living in a small country, you only need an hour plus to travel from one end of the country to the other end, probably much faster by car.

My country isn't big either

It's about the money it costs to go to the capital city and back.

i need new sunglasses. i got these cause they were cheap and kept bugs out of my eyes. but they're too dark and look like poop.

I meant to grab a pic of the neighborhood, too, but I guess I didn't. It's this weird "town square" business district built in the 1920s: a hotspot for casual dining with a movie theater and probably a handful of art galleries and/or little fashion boutiques spread around in there. The middle is all green space cut up by roads and the Rapid line (so not really a park so much as a collection of really fancy medians) and then the businesses are grouped in little tree-lined islands around the corners and sides of the square, and there are lots of trees on the 'medians,' too, so you can only ever see your own little island and giant apartment blocks off in the distance in every direction. Something about it almost reminds me of Central Park in NYC, but not a park, and not downtown

Anyway, it's an interesting part of town that I haven't explored much, and the company seems like a place where I can grow into management without sacrificing every waking hour to it. It should radically improve my financial situation, too, though I'm still in for a tough month or two getting to the point where money is coming in and I'm caught up on rent/bills.

The bricks were recovered from my grandfather's first house a gazillion years ago. I have about 5 tons (~4500kg) of them.

You should really get those things fixed so they don't overpopulate. How much bacon do they eat per day?

Looks similar to where I live, urbanized city looks all the same.

It's one of the districts that are on the edge of the city, so it's not even that urbanized as the downtown is ^^

There were at least half a dozen wandering around that day. You see them a lot for park patrols and crowd control.
