Another D'Brickashaw update! Sorry for the huge photos.

A week or two ago, my mother gave D'Brickashaw a mirror. My sister told us that the reflexion should serve as D'Brickashaw's friend.

D'Brickashaw was cautious initially, but soon adjusted to its new companion. No one can replace the monkey though.

This is D'Brickashaw's first or second experience with water.

You can see some white patches appearing on D'Brickashaw's butt. It's losing its baby fluff, and is becoming less soft.


Look at those little chicken wings. Looking at D'Brickashaw's wings makes me hungry sometimes.

I walked home alone from the train station to my house at 2am. I was freaking myself out a little. I get frightened when people appear and I get frightened when people don't appear. More afraid of the former though.

Handphone camera's quality isn't too well. But the view was indeed beautiful if only I'm less afraid and know martial arts.

Just chilling in the afternoon in the garden with Sophie on my lap... Finally had time to rest and read my book

This isn't exactly an everyday event. But those who know me know that I hike and kayak a lot. Also, I see the lake everyday-- I just don't get up to this part very often.

But anyway, this is from a 6 day kayaking/hiking adventure I just had. It was really amazing.

That water on the first 3 pics seems so dirty o.o

The water wasn't really dirty. We just kicked up a little sediment by walking through it. Plus the reflections from the canyon walls make it look darker than it was.

See? It doesn't look as intimidating in the sunlight, does it?

Well, you are lucky to live at a nice place like that ^^

Thanks, it's an awesome place to live if you love the outdoors and don't particularly like to shop!

Yeah, it's a beautiful hike. And if the follow description (that I found online) sounds appealing to you, then you would love it.

In many sections West is a tight slot with high, sheer walls, choke-stones and pools so deep you have to swim. But those features are common to many fun slots on the Colorado Plateau. It’s the running water — the stream in the bottom of the canyon — that makes this one unique.

Imagine wading into a pool that extends into a dark crack in the earth’s crust. You tentatively push forward, feeling your way through the deep water. Suddenly the bottom gives way and you find you have to swim. You continue forward, following the contorted twists and turns of the narrow canyon. You brush the walls as you swim, and bump your knees on submerged rocks, but never touch bottom.

Clear and visible evidence of water on Mars. Nice.

"Water on Mars" he says. Conveniently ignoring the LIFE ON MARS that's wading through the water.

Also, here's another stack-o-books. I took this at the same time as the other one (about 2 years ago I think) at my old house, and my bed was sandwiched in between these 2 towering stacks. The first one I posted was right next to my head, and this one would have been on the opposite side of me, over my thighs. It's a wonder I was never crushed beneath tons of paper!!
