Because it gets me off in the same way as like, when you see a really gorgeous girl (or if you're a girl, a really cute guy)- when you think about it and it's pleasing, but it's usually just a fleeting thought.
Note that it can be a fetish, it just isn't for me.

I owe it all to seeing the movie "The Incredible Shrinking Man" when I was eight years old, and I'm 62 now. At first it was an obsession; I'd imagine shrinking in various places (though I didn't want to shrink in school; too embarrassing.) The best way to describe the fantasy I guess is that I would be like Stuart Little, except human. At puberty it became a fetish, along with other metamorphoses (I was a teenage werewolf fan.) Soon enough I realized shrinking is impossible in real life, but I've been a fan of anything to do with it over the years: TV shows, movies, novels. A couple of years ago I even found a social networking site for men who share the shrinking / growth fetish.

Ah, makes sense! I also had a metamorphosis one for a while when I was younger (I think it was also because of some movies I saw while young, actually lol) involving turning into animals, especially a cat. :3 (And not in an anthropomorphic way!)

And, actually, I don't think it's just all feet in general. For me I guess it's like, well, if it's in a specific posture. I suppose, a curled up foot looks better than one spreading it's toes, that's just nasty. And if the bones are too visible, that's terrible as well. I guess they have to be sort of rounded, soft? Not too long, not too bony. Toes not too spread apart, not too crammed together, and I don't even know what I'm saying!
Or maybe it's just because feet is one of those parts of the body that is usually covered, so when they're uncovered, it feels a little like nakedness?
