I didn't say that it was a browser problem. The red X is how IE displays images which 404. I inferred that you were using IE but any browser would hit a 404 unless there was some sort of browser detection going on to deny access to IE users..

IE sucks. That's all I was saying. I didn't say downloading a new browser would let you see images that aren't there, I said that web designers wouldn't hate you any more.

I expect more from you Melanie. You're usually sharper than this.

Well, the last problem that I alluded to was that every web designer hates you. I should probably make that "every competent web designer."

Hence wouldn't that be the natural referent of "the situation"?

Also, make sure you're talking to a competent web designer before you take their opinion seriously. Do they hand code their CSS and HTML or do they just accept whatever bloated crap dreamreaver spits out? Do they understand separation of concerns? Do they already not support IE 6 and are they itching to dump support for IE 7? Do they care about their craft or do they just use frontpage?

Also, swimming sounds nice. I bet you can hold your breath longer.

I can reduce my resting pulse by thinking about it. Combine this with a breathing exercise then I can get really relaxed.

Austin is a high-tech city, so it's not hard to find competent people, including web designers. I believe the ones I know take their jobs just as seriously as you suggest they should.

I'm pretty sure they don't hate me, no matter what browser I use. But don't take my word for it. Feel free to ask them personally.

You are clearly doing your best to avoid being responsible for your own words, and that's okay. I've encountered your type before.

Your dissection is flawed, and you know it, but it makes you feel important to tell people they misunderstood you, or inferred something from your post that wasn't there.

I'm just giving you a hard time I suppose. Shitting isn't really that gross. It just seemed like you said it for the shock value and I find such behavior to me immature and only amusing when I do it.

I can do some pretty useless things. I can cross one eye. I can cross my pinky beneath my other three fingers (imagine crossing your pinky and ring fingers, then adding the middle and index fingers next to the ring finger).

I can make a frog with my hands, though that's not really a talent.

I can also do this (the following man is not me, just an example image):

I can shake hands with myself this way. Most people only seem able to have their fingers touch.

I can do that behind-the-back handshake. My son can't.

I didn't know this was unusual, I thought everyone could reach their back like this. I just tried the hand touch behind my back like this and I did it. Well I guess being able to do this really helps when you are putting on sunscreen and there is no one around to get your back. I do that all the time in the summer.

The pose isn't unusual. It's probably the hand shaking part in that position. I can't. My body is rather stiff.

But trying that out sure gave me some good stretching.

I can put both arms in those exact positions, but my hands are no where near each other. So I can't do that. It implies that my forearms are shorter than my upper arms. wow, go me.

Edit - Tell a lie. Just managed it, so was a problem with proprioception.

Yeah, it's more being able to have my palms touch comfortable/shaking hands. Sorry if I was vague on that. I'm glad that my photo inspired you all to stretch though.
