Poll - Final Fantasy 8 Smilie

So seeing as im totally obsessed with Final Fantasy 8 and cant let go of the game, I was wondering who else noticed that there is a Cactuar smiley. This may be considered sensless banter by some but to me if it was there it would dishonour the game.

I've never played FF9, but you're probably right. It's definitely not the worst of the series, though. It's still better than 5, 7, 12 and 14.

I think a lot of it has to do with buying Enix out. If they had better competition in the JRPG market (and people stopped buying the damn game just because it has FF attached to it) maybe they would steps it up. I remember when Square was the first thing hat came to mind when I thought about RPGs. Now it's bioware and Bethesda.

And 5 wasn't that bad. It just wasn't 6.

For me 8 is the best, that doesnt mean I didnt enjoy 7, 6, 3, 2, and 1 just as much. It seems like alot of companies are failing to produce quality games. I know a bunch of people probably disagree but skyrim really isnt as great as everyone makes it out to be (Thats coming from me, who has enjoyed every bethesda games until now).

VIII was so horrible. I spent more than half the game drawing magic and you can't choose your party for the final boss and the story sucked and the cactuar was in every FF game and there were only like 5 towns and Squall was too emo and killing monsters doesn't give you gil and when you level up the monsters get stronger and junctioning was dumb and Laguna was the only good character and Ultimecia was a bad villain...

The only thing I can say about the game is that IMO it has the most memorable soundtrack.

I liked X-2 better >___>

EDIT: The cactuar isnt an FFVIII thing BTW, its in VII, IX, XIII and probably all the other ones......

This is not a suggestion, this is a challenge. I represent FF8 and act as its second. May DV's second step forward and negotiate. If not, DV will forsake its honor.

I still await DVs second. Not knowing the rules of a duel is no excuse not to participate. If someone does not step forward as DVs second, it's honor is automatically yielded. The time for shit talking is over. It is the time for pistols.
