The overall logo was supposed to represent a butterfly, but the "V" also resembles an open eye. The creator is TamiDoll and the logo was chosen back in 2010 during a Dreamviews logo contest. |

One eye symbolism is not rare and can be traced back to Egyptian mythology where Horus is said to have lost his left eye in a struggle with Seth. If you put your hand over your left eye and look at the dreamviews logo, the dot will mirror your remaining eye. |

The butterfly can represent contact with the other side or different worlds, so that's interestingly relevant. Also can be representative of transformation. Since Lucid dreaming is a learning process that does transform you, also highly relevant. |
