Why admire a work of art that you didn&#39;t paint yourself, and can&#39;t hang on your living room wall?

Alternative Answer: Because it doesn&#39;t take ownership to appreciate that which is worth appreciating.

Hmmm. I certainly see what you mean, but I can appreciate pretty people, and that includes celebrities, without ever having to resort to a crush. Personally, I know people I frequent that are far prettier than any woman I&#39;ve seen in a film or TV program.

That said, there (was) a drama called Sugar Rush of appalling quality on Channel 4 that I watched only for the aesthetics of the lead character (Olivia Hallinan is the actress&#39; name).

Of course, man. I&#39;m sure every one of us do, but that is besides the point. Maybe you&#39;re taking my usage of "Crush" a little too deeply, which is understandable. I guess I could have titled the thread "What Celebrities make you go......&#39;WOW." But I don&#39;t think it has quite the same ring to it, ya know?

I&#39;m not talking about a "completely head over heels, 15 year old boy fixation on a superstar that would probably lead to stalking, should said star live within walking distance" crush. Just what stars strike you as amazing by either their beauty, poise or personality. I know plenty of girls I rank over celebrities, but a "Neighborhood Crush List" just wouldn&#39;t have the same appeal, I don&#39;t think. Hehe.
